Depression

Depression, or major depressive disorder, is a serious mood disorder that can affect a person’s emotional, physical and mental well-being. It is one of the most common mental illnesses in Canada. Risk factors for depression may include biology, personality, life experiences, environment and physical health problems. Depression can affect anyone; however, more women are affected by depression than men. This page contains documents and resources related to depression.
