ON WHY PUBLIC HEALTH ONTARIO IS IMPORTANT

“Equitable access to laboratory medicine and diagnostics should not be dependent on where you live. One of my main motivations behind a career in clinical microbiology is to improve test access in unserved populations. At PHO, we are dedicated to reducing health inequities by supporting laboratory capacity building, providing equitable access to laboratory services, and sharing scientific knowledge with our colleagues and the public. My professional goals combined with PHO’s mission is an exciting environment where we can address inequities in laboratory medicine to build healthier communities.”
